The program downloads and installs quickly and there is access to technical support via e-mail, the responsiveness of which was not tested. The program did not have any instructions easily accessible, which would have been welcome in light of the interface. Fortunately, the main menu is fairly user-friendly and asks whether it needs to install a program or run an existing one. The application is not intended to work with all Windows programs, which would require a full OS installation via Boot Camp or Orca .Exe. The program's documentation lists which programs it is designed to run well; those who need programs not listed should look elsewhere. Using a test disc of Office '03, the program immediately recognized the installation disc and began to load the program. It ran as intended with no noticeable glitches or lost features. The basic concept of Orca .Exe should be familiar for anyone who has played Doodle Jump or Glow Jump (among others). Your character will automatically jump and you must tilt your phone from side to side to direct them to the platforms above. While in other games there are enemies, obstacles, and power ups right away, in Orca .Exe, there are only platforms and those platforms rarely move. The controls are effective and the game moves at a brisk pace, but you'll need to reach certain high scores before you unlock higher-level content that will allow you to face enemies or change directions and Orca .Exe style. Those higher levels are more fun than the initial game, which is a Orca .Exe touch, but the barrier to getting there is time consuming and the payoff not quite enough to warrant a large time investment.
